ACTIVEX 500 Effervescent Tablets

Description

ACTIVEX 500 mg Effervescent Tablets contain Paracetamol, a well-known analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). The effervescent formulation allows rapid dissolution in water for quick relief from pain and fever.

Composition:

• Active ingredient: Paracetamol 500 mg
• Excipients: Citric acid anhydrous, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sorbitol, povidone K30, sodium saccharin, polyethylene glycol 6000, magnesium stearate

Indications:

• Headache
• Toothache
• Body aches
• Flu-like symptoms
• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
• Pain associated with osteoarthritis (as advised by a physician)

Dosage and Administration:

• Route: Oral.
• Dissolve completely in a glass of water before taking. Do not swallow or chew.

Adults and Children ≥50 kg (≈15 years and older):

• Dose: 1–2 tablets (500–1000 mg) as needed
• Interval: Every 4–6 hours
• Maximum: 8 tablets (4 g paracetamol) per day

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and maintain at least a 4-hour interval between doses.
