Do not use more medication than prescribed. Wash off the cream after 8-14 hours by showering or taking a bath.<\/p>\n
Avoid getting the cream into your\u00a0eyes, nose,\u00a0mouth, or\u00a0vagina. If the medication gets in your\u00a0eyes, flush the\u00a0eyes\u00a0with plenty of water. Consult your doctor if irritation lasts.<\/p>\n
Symptoms of\u00a0scabies\u00a0include an intense\u00a0itching\u00a0that is usually worse at\u00a0bedtime. You may also see small, fine, wavy lines on the\u00a0skin\u00a0with a tiny insect at the end (a burrow). Burrows are usually found on finger\/toe webs, wrists, elbows, armpits, belt line, lower buttocks, female nipples, or male genitals. Even if\u00a0permethrin\u00a0kills all the\u00a0scabies, the dead mites can still make you itch for up to 4 weeks after treatment. Ask your doctor about other\u00a0medications\u00a0that may be used to soothe the\u00a0itching. Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets worse 2 weeks after treatment.
