Formulations contain Racecadotril as the active ingredient. These granules can be mixed with food or water for administration.<\/p>\n<p>Diasec Children 30 mg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each sachet contains 30 mg of Racecadotril.<\/li>\n<li>Intended for children weighing 13 kg or more.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended dosage:\n<ul>\n<li>Children weighing from 13 to 27 kg: One sachet per dose.<\/li>\n<li>Children weighing 27 kg or more: Two sachets per dose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Treatment duration: Until the child has two normal stools, not exceeding 7 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diasec is used for the treatment of symptoms of acute diarrhoea in children. It is recommended to use Diasec along with abundant liquid intake and dietary measures when these measures alone are not sufficient to control the diarrhoea and when causal treatment is not possible. Racecadotril can be used as a complementary treatment when causal treatment is possible.<\/p>\n<p>Before administering Diasec to a child, it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
