Formulations contain Racecadotril as the active ingredient. These granules can be mixed with food or water for administration.<\/p>\n<p>Diasec Infants 10 mg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each sachet contains 10 mg of Racecadotril.<\/li>\n<li>Intended for infants weighing up to 13 kg.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended dosage:\n<ul>\n<li>Infants weighing up to 9 kg: One sachet per dose.<\/li>\n<li>Infants weighing from 9 to 13 kg: Two sachets per dose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Treatment duration: Until the child has two normal stools, not exceeding 7 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diasec is used for the treatment of symptoms of acute diarrhoea in infants over three months of age. It is recommended to use Diasec along with abundant liquid intake and dietary measures when these measures alone are not sufficient to control the diarrhoea and when causal treatment is not possible. Racecadotril can be used as a complementary treatment when causal treatment is possible.<\/p>\n<p>Before administering Diasec to a child, it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist. The leaflet accompanying the medication provides detailed information on precautions, warnings, possible side effects, storage instructions, and other relevant information.
